$500 down (or more) and you design your payment plan by dividing the remaining balance into monthly payments that suit your budget. There will be no board payments if your mule is paid for and picked up within 3 months. If your mule is with us longer, there will be a $70 a month board fee payable in advance beginning after the third month. Your mule may be picked up anytime after the balance is paid in full. You will be responsible for all transportation arrangements and costs, as well as a $100 surcharge for coggins and health certificate. Take a look at the sample contract below.   1. Seller agrees to board the mule at the rate of $70.00 starting three months from original purchase date above. The board must be paid in advance and may increase for mules over two years old, or if hay prices change to warrant an increase.
  2. Buyer agrees to pay a $100 surcharge in addition to the quoted purchase price to cover transfer costs such as brand inspection, coggins, and health certificate.
  3. Buyer agrees to pay all expenses such as medicines, shots, worming, farrier and other medical and is responsible for all costs and arrangements for transporting the mule.
  4. Buyer understands that payment in full is necessary before mule will be released from the premises. Contract will be void and all monies will be forfeit if buyer fails to make regular payments.
  5. Seller is not responsible for mules after their purchase and departure from R&M. Veterinary inspections are welcome before purchase at buyers expense.
  6. Wavier of Liability. R&M Gaited Mules, veterinarians, and any other parties involved, shall be saved harmless of liability for any loss from fire, theft, escape, sickness, disease, injury, death or other harm suffered by above named mule whether or not deemed to be caused by negligence. I understand that R&M Gaited Mules does not carry any form of insurance on this mule. Buyer assumes no liability for injury or damage caused by the mule. Any disputes arising out of this contract shall be settled under the laws of Montana and arbitrated in Ravalli County.
